--Re: directions, we are at 3350 Route 28, Herkimer, NY. That is 3 miles north of the village. Just follow the signs for NY 28 north once you get to Herkimer (whichever way you choose to do that).
P.S. I'd get to Route 20 in Sangerfield then follow NY 12 north to Utica to NY 5S East to Mohawk then follow the signs for NY 28 north.
